Back in the Stone Age, of '92, I thought it was a huge deal when I graduated from a 1 Mhz Apple II to a Mac Quadra 700 with Photoshop 2.01, Quark X press 3 and a whopping 32 Mb of RAM. Although my current Mac Pro is 403,200 times more powerful than that Apple II, it's still not fast enough because we keep pushing these boxes to their limits. It's just that our limits get higher as fast or faster than the machines get horsepower.
After retiring from operating a commercial photo, design and prepress studio, I currently keep a few select clients and enjoy working closely with them. Of course, imaging is still a passion and hopefully, always will be.
